Cool down with this delicious dip


As temperatures rise, this cool dip is a wonderful addition to your summer menu. Serve it with crisp vegetables such as sliced bell peppers, broccoli, celery and tomatoes or let it do double-duty as a sauce for your grilled meats. Enjoy with warm pita bread cut into triangles or gyro-style and you have the perfect summer meal.

1 8 oz container plain yogurt
1 8 oz container sour cream
2 cucumbers peeled, seeded and diced
1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper to taste
Combine ingredients in a food processor or blender; mix well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve chilled. Enjoy!
