Garlic and Onion Shrimp Naan Bruschetta

Prep Time = 10 mins | Total Time = 25-30 mins | Serves = 4 people

Ingredients

  • 2 loaves of BonSavor Naan, warmed
  • 14 peeled, large shrimp without tail
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 lemon peel, grated
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

Preparation

Wash the shrimp and dry in a paper towel. Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet; add the shrimp and the salt and pepper. Sauté until the shrimp is fully cooked (about 5 minutes); add the garlic and onion powders and stir for 2 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat and add the lemon peel and chopped cilantro. Spread the shrimp and the sauce on the warm Naan and cut into strips. Enjoy!
